After graduating in the History of Art from Complutense University in Madrid, José Ignacio Abeijon (Madrid, 1968). embarked on a professional career in the art market and in research. He has 25 years’ experience in art galleries, which he draws on when teaching post-graduate courses on this subject at Madrid’s Nebrija University.
He has carried out research on three other subjects: Leandro Fernández de Moratín, Oscar Domínguez and Joaquín Torres-García, and curated an exhibition on the latter at the Museum of Fine Arts of Murcia. More recently he has produced works exploring the relationship between illness and artistic creativity.
